ゲニスタ・モンスペッスラーナ 日本名は**ホオベニエニシダ (頬紅金雀枝)
ゲニスタ・モンスペッスラーナは北アフリカや南ヨーロッパ原産ですが、アメリカやオーストラリアでは現地の生態系を脅かす侵略種とみなされています。例えばワシントン州では、株や種子の取引きや輸送などが禁止されています。環境省の生態系被害防止外来種リストには掲載されていませんが、2013年には、国内での栽培は未確認ながら、リスト掲載の検討対象になりました。Wiki
ハリエニシダ
ハリエニシダは、バニラやココナッツのような甘い香りがするマメ科の低木です。初春と秋に開花する黄色い花に特徴的な香りがあります。
輸入されたハリエンジュは最初に北海道に多く植えられたことから、どこか西洋風でエキゾチックな感情を抱く人も多く、詩歌や小説の題材になってきました。北原白秋の童謡『この道』（山田耕作作曲）は、この歌を郷里の柳川市に咲いていたアカシアと、開拓時の札幌のイメージを重ね合わせて作詞したといわれています。年配の方は西田佐知子が1960年代にヒットさせた水木かおる作詞の歌謡曲『アカシアの雨がやむとき』を思い出されるかもしれません。
