Good-Bye Michael

Michael Jackson has gone.
So sad.

He has gone too soon, he was only 50.

Some might say he was old enough to stop living, because
it seemed he did not want to live longer.

People say he was strange and was almost broken in a sense.
Even so, we still love his voice, his songs and his stage performances.

When we think about his pure, lonely soul,
Everybody can’t help loving him.

He was fragile and beautiful in soul.
He will remain forever in our hearts.

友人が出演するコンサートで聴いたうた。
なんと素敵な歌詞、やさしい詩。

うたを　うたう　とき
わたしは　からだを　ぬぎすてます

からだを　ぬぎすてて
こころ　ひとつに　なります

こころ　ひとつに　なって
かるがる　とんでいくのです

うたが　いきたい　ところへ
うたよりも　はやく

そして
あとから　たどりつく　うたを
やさしく　むかえてあげるのです

When I sing a song I rip my body off
Once I rip my body off
Only thing I have is my heart
(My heart is the only company)
Then I will fly to the sky Only with my heart
I will fly to the place
where the song will be reached
I will arrive sooner than the song comes
And, I will await the arrival of the song
for embracing it warmly and softly
