すみれ会の‟前進”・演芸会

出演したのは 演奏会ではなく、演芸会だった。やや歌いにくいところには目をつぶって・・・。みんなで長く練習したから。それに、みんなで歌うのは楽しかったから。
「すみれの花咲く頃」「花の街」「つがるの故郷」の3曲を7人で。

12/14公演の宣伝を兼ねて演奏。前日、当日ステージリハ－サルも調子が悪く「どうしよう」と思ったけど、外に出て練習（やる気になればできるのだ）。本番はみんなきっちり良く歌った。さすがレベルが高い集団だと今更ながら思った!良かった。

恋人マルチェッロと別れたムゼッタがカフェ「モミュス」でマルチェッロを見かけ、マルチェッロが自分と別れたことを後悔するように、自分の魅力について歌う場面です。

Royal Opera in Yokohama, Sept. ’19

3年前のLondon コヴェントガーデンのあと、横浜でロイヤル・オペラ「オテロ」を観た。パッパーノとジェラルド・フィンリーに目をつけていた私はエライ。すばらしい演奏、演技、歌唱だった。合唱の迫力も圧倒的で、シェイクスピアの国から来たオペラ軍団の力量に感銘を受けた、いい時間だった。
世界一流のオペラ『ファウスト』『オテロ』を世界一流の英国ロイヤル・オペラで
”シェイクスピアの〈オセロ〉は人の心の深淵を描く傑作だが、パッパーノによればこのヴェルディのオペラは「シェイクスピアのメッセージをまっすぐに、明確に伝えている」とのこと。またオテロ役のクンデは「この役は様々なテノールの役の頂点とも言える、夢の役」、悪役ヤーゴを演じるジェラルド・フィンリーも「ヤーゴは俳優にとっても、歌手にとっても正に夢の役」と声を揃えた。 ”
